Congratulations.<br /><br />I liked that your students looked beyond the equipment that you supplied to solve the three problems, and that they solved the problems through collaboration, reasoned discussion and prior knowledge.<br /><br />Of course, I also liked that two of your groups started the period by throwing balls around. So typical, but nice that you let them settle it down themselves. Math should be fun. It is like food; by convention you shouldn't play with that either, but ...
